Time To Buy Floor Safes?

When you’ve been in business for a short amount of time and your cash is starting to roll in, installing some security such as floor safes for your business is a very important step. Any sizable and successful business needs a secure place where their cash can be stored and floor safes are the perfect solution to this problem as not only are they strong and durable but they can also be easily hidden. However before you purchase floor safes for your business there are quite a few things you need to know.  This article should give you some idea of what you’ll need to consider when expanding to business and installing a floor safe.

The most important factor you need to consider is whether or not you’re ready to purchase a floor safe. You need to make sure you’re making enough money to justify its purchase. Floor safes can be expensive to install so it’s always useful to check your balance sheets first to see whether you’re handling enough cash that warrants a floor safes installation. If you’re still unsure as to whether or not you’re handling enough cash then ask yourself: is the amount of cash I store away less or more expensive than the value of the safe itself. If it’s less more than the value of the safe itself then it’s probably time you started buying a new floor safe.

Another factor when purchasing floor safes is to consider which type of business you’re in as some types of business are typically more vulnerable to break ins and robberies. Common targets include petrol stations, convenience stores, hotels and banks. If you’ve got a business in any one of these industries then it’s highly recommend that you use floor safes to hide your valuables. Burglars commonly target these locations so if a robbery doesn’t happen now it’s likely to happen sometime in the future. However by having floor safes not only will the burglars not know where to find the safes, if they do discover it they’ll be unable to break into it.

Look around at the location your business is in. Is it affluent or poor? Is it in the center of the city with many people about or is it out in the countryside with no one around. A common misconception is that the more secluded the location is then the less likely it will be burgled. Whilst this might be somewhat true it works both ways. Think about this from the criminals perspective, what would be harder to break into: a hotel in the city center surrounded by security cameras and crowds of people or a hotel in the countryside, miles away from any police or other inhabitants? You don’t have to live in Fort Knox to feel secure, however just look at the location you’re in and think about whether or not buying a floor safe would be a good idea.
